Love Songs

Our Pre-K students are excited to present two love songs (directed at their loving parents) at Monday's assembly. Here's a little preview from rehearsal:

Grade 3-8 Students continue to prepare for Annie, Jr. while also spending some music time working toward their PE performance.

Students and families in Grades 3-8 went to the movies last weekend to see the updated 2014 film, Annie. One student was even interviewed by a radio station afterwards.

Students should have their lines and blocking memorized and now be reviewing, practicing and dancing their hearts out.

Students can view the rehearsal calendar, practice the songs and get other powerful information in the Annie, Jr. Google Drive Folder. Information and a calendar are also on the right-hand side of this blog.

Middle School students tried out the new Snowball Microphone to record a special audio track.

KG-2 Music was delayed this week due to PE practice and Day 100 Celebrations, so look forward to pictures of them finishing their instrument family unit next week!

Library classes had a great week, with Grades 1-2 practicing searching our library catalog on the iPad. The kindergartners were paired up so they could start learning the process, too. Grades K-8 are now checking in and out independently. And we finished by reading books by our visiting authors, Candace Fleming and Eric Rohmann. All the students are excited to share thoughts and feelings about the book when the authors come next week.

Stay tuned for more from our PRIS Students and don't forget to check out the library and music YouTube page (and subscribe)!
